Hello!
I'm Lisa.

My Journey: Making Speech Practice at Home Simple for Families
Â
Over my 25 years as a speech-language pathologist, I've met so many parents who want to help their child succeed—but feel overwhelmed by speech practice at home. Again and again, families have told me how hard it is to keep up with consistent speech activities between therapy sessions. They’re searching for practical solutions that actually fit into real life.
I realized that when practice at home is inconsistent, a child's progress in speech therapy can slow down. I saw the frustration and discouragement that came when parents tried their best, but busy schedules and limited guidance made it tough to stay on track.
That’s why I set out to become a true support system for families facing speech sound challenges. I searched for simple, effective speech therapy activities—but found few resources that truly understood the daily realities of family life.
Unable to find resources that truly understood families' daily challenges, I created a unique framework built around bite-sized, expert-led speech practice videos for kids and practical support for parents. These quick, engaging videos make it easy to fit consistent speech therapy practice at home into your daily routine, while my strategies and tips help parents feel confident and supported—so progress keeps moving forward between therapy sessions.
Now, I support families in transforming at-home speech practice from a source of stress into an enjoyable and natural part of daily life. Together, we celebrate real improvements in communication, and parents gain the confidence to help their children thrive.
Practical Speech Practice for Busy Families
Â
My approach to speech therapy at home is simple but powerful: speech practice should fit naturally into your family's daily routine—not add to your stress. I believe every child deserves to communicate with confidence, and every parent should feel empowered to support their child's speech and language journey.
That’s why I create practical, bite-sized speech therapy activities and quick video lessons for kids, designed to turn ordinary moments—like breakfast, car rides, or bedtime—into opportunities for meaningful progress. These easy-to-use resources help families fit consistent speech practice into real life, making progress possible even on the busiest days.
What makes this work truly meaningful isn’t just the improvement in children’s speech; it’s seeing parents discover their own ability to make a difference at home. When families tell me they’ve found joy and confidence in at-home speech practice instead of pressure, I know we’re building lasting change—together.

Speech Therapy That Fits Real Families, Backed by 25 Years’ Experience
Â
My journey in speech therapy isn’t just about credentials—though 25 years of experience, ASHA certification since 1999, and a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology tell part of the story. It’s about the real-life moments that have shaped my approach to helping families thrive.
After working with over 600 students in school settings, I’ve learned that success happens when we make speech therapy realistic and relatable for parents and children. As a mom of two boys, I know firsthand the importance of strategies that work in busy family life—not just in theory.
What sets my approach apart is the bridge between clinical expertise and practical support for parents at home. I understand both the science of speech development and the challenges of everyday routines—whether you’re rushing to soccer practice or getting dinner on the table.
My commitment to ongoing education keeps me at the forefront of speech therapy techniques, but my dedication to families is what drives me to make these strategies accessible, achievable, and effective in real life.
When families work with me, they gain more than just speech exercises—they get a partner who helps them build confident communication through everyday moments at home.
